Executive Master Sample Application.

Introduction:

With this sample application ' Changer', the PC is Executive Master and is implemented to control a vending machine controller (VMC). The vending machine controller (VMC) is connected to the USB port of the PC via the USB to MDB interface. For this sample application a Change Giver of MEI type Cash Flow CF-690 was used as reference. The MDBEngine function calls 'VMC...' are used to implement this sample application. The project was developed with Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 C++.

Requirements:

• The USB to MDB interface. (Part # BD-4000)

• USB connection cable type A/B. (Part # BD-4001)

• Executive Master interface cable. (Part # BD-4103) (Schematics in PDF)

• The MDBEngine DLL.

Operating instructions:

Change giver control steps: Start the Changer application. Check the LED's for correct data communication. Click Coin to simulate the dropping coins. The summed value should appear as amount. Make a selection on the vending machine controller (VMC). The amount should be deducted by the price. The vend result should be displayed. Click Reject to clear the amount.
